(Student start-ups: some ideas and many doubts).

Abstract:

This paper analyses the Bill for the Promotion of the Start Up Ecosystem in its application to the Spanish university environment.
The work compiles previous regulations of the university entrepreneurship, establishing comparisons with the Bill under discussion.
In addition, it focuses on the new entrepreneurship instrument introduced by this legislative proposal: the student start ups.
Through the case study of the Argos Programme developed at the University of Santiago de Compostela, the opportunities offered by the new legislative
proposal in terms of promoting university
entrepreneurship are detailed.
