Abstract:
It’s been a year since the emergence of the initial evidence of the so-called “Covid-19 crisis”. In light of the disturbing economic outlook - and without prejudice to the crisis’ massive impact in all health and labor instances - Instituto de Capital Riesgo (INCARI) has concluded that it is an imperative priority to gather the sentiment about the consequences of the preceding crisis in the private equity/venture capital sector and in the investment environment as a whole in Spain. To this end, we have developed this survey 2020 on Private Equity & Venture Capital and Covid-19.
Keywords: Covid-19, health crisis, pandemic, 2007 financial crisis, private equity, fundraising, portfolio companies, public sector.
