FINTECH: legal approach to the challenges

Abstract:
The term FinTech refers to any financial activity that can be carried out through the use of technology. This encompasses a whole range of financial services, infrastructures and products, including crowdfunding platforms, payment services, crowd lending, automatic consultation and the issue of tokens.
These may be reduced to four classic legal categories: the credit market, the stock market, the insurance market and payment systems. This paper analyses the legal frame- work governing the principal applications of FinTech.
